Vendetta Cover Reveal by Stacey Rourke

Blurb

Splashed across every media outlet are claims I’m a violent murderer. A menace to society that must be stopped at all cost.

I… would love to see them try.

An enemy of the Nosferatu hides in plain sight. His lone goal– to watch the world burn. As the newly appointed vampire queen, I’m done allowing my people to suffer for his twisted agenda.

Dorian Gray thinks he knows pain.

He believes he owns the market on public manipulation.

He hunkers under the belief that his power and status make him untouchable.

I can’t wait to prove him wrong.

A darkness has rooted itself in me, one older than the first vampiric bloodline. An unimaginable strength courses through my veins, and I will use it to make Dorian bow before me. They call me the Dragon Queen, and I own the title. Because I, alone, know that the malevolent essence within me is one no man could ever tame.

REVIEW TIME!!!
I give this .....

Wow! This book had me sucked in after just the first few pages. Action throughout the whole thing! A mystery to be solved that had so many turns...I thought I knew what would happen but no way could I have expected this!!!
I grew to love these characters. Even hate one! I think that says a lot about the awesome writing that is within these pages. More mystery to come in the next one I hope. Nothing is what it seems in this story of Angels vs Demons.

Title: Greed
Author: Karina Espinosa
Genre: YA Urban Fantasy
Cover Designer: Covers by Christian
Hosted by: Lady Amber’s PR
Blurb: Max and his best friend/guardian angel, Jones, are on the run for a month before the first clue leads them to Sin City, Las Vegas, to find the Nephilim of Greed, Nikolai. The combination of Nikolai’s reluctance to help and fear of an unknown force leaves Max full of more questions than answers.
Will Max discover who is hunting the Nephilim? And if he does, can he overcome the forces of evil against them?
In the sequel to Sins of the Fallen, Karina Espinosa pulls readers back to the saga unfolding in the world of angels and demons—a world in which everything begins to fall apart.

Title: Lust

Blurb:
When Max is approached by The Wanderer in regards to a mutual adversary, he will have to make a deal with the devil to save the only family he has left—even if it means infiltrating enemy territory without the aid of his friends. And leaving them in the hands of Sienna, the Nephilim of Lust.
Will this temporary truce with The Wanderer buy him more time, or speed up his prophesied demise? Can he trust Greed or Lust?
Alliances will be formed, teams will be chosen, and questions will be answered in the third installment of the Sins of the Fallen series.

Blurb:
In a world fueled by greed and corruption, where airships rule the skies and coal mines have been turned into prisons, Scarlett Moon has one goal: Survive. After being rescued by an airship full of pirates, led by the sexy and irresistible Asher Kimura, Scarlett finds herself surrounded by cons and fugitives, and thrust into the middle of a coal-smuggling business. When they take her to Columbus, the one place she never wanted to set foot in again, she wants nothing more than to get away. And her discomfort only grows as she becomes increasingly drawn to Asher.
But everything changes when she discovers there may be a way to rescue Rory. Enlisting the pirates' help, Scarlett sets out on a mission to save her friend, praying that her overwhelming attraction to Asher doesn’t mean the end to her freedom—in more ways than one.

Blurb:
After surviving the auction and a near death experience at the hands of Asher’s father, Scarlett Moon is more than ready for life to settle down, and with each passing day she starts to feel more at home in Columbus. Even with Asher ready for more than Scarlett can give, she manages to fall into a routine that almost feels like a normal life.
But one distress call is all it takes to destroy the serenity the group has managed to build.
As far as anyone knew, Paget had moved on with her life after storming out months ago, but the fear in her voice when she calls the warehouse tells a different story. Even though Scarlett never liked Asher’s ex to begin with, she can’t help feeling a little bit responsible for Paget’s situation.
Searching the seediest parts of the city, the group picks up clues as they try to piece together what might have happened to Paget. The more Scarlett learns about what the other woman has been through over the last few months, the more concerned she becomes. Even worse: there’s no sign of Paget anywhere in Columbus.
With all the clues pointing in one direction, the group leaves the city and heads for Hocking Hills. Only it seems the danger may have followed them, leaving nothing but death and destruction in its wake and putting Paget in more danger than ever before. As Scarlett learns more about the woman who used to hold Asher’s heart, she suddenly finds herself unable to deny how she really feels about him. Only, with Paget in trouble, Scarlett can’t help wondering if Asher might still have feelings for his ex.

Review time!!!!

This is the first time I’ve read a book about a necromancer. I love Stacey Rourke’s take on it. I absolutely CAN NOT WAIT for the next one. I’m addicted to this series like I am to Bacon 🐖 💕.

I’ve had a book hangover for awhile and I honestly thought it'd never go away but this “delightful display is what’s known as a Cosmic Bitch-slap” and has restored my love for reading again.

This story has the bad ass, Octavia, find out who she really is and learn not to go by what others think she is or will become. She becomes comfortable with herself and her powers and I think we all need a bit more of THAT in our lives.

I give this ......

Great job Stacey Rourke! This was better than some hot and spicy Menudo for my "hangover." Many thanks for letting me read this. It means a lot to enjoy reading again.

Welcome To My New Blog!

So I am not big on blogging. Just starting out. The only reason I started blogging any book reviews was because a dear friend of mine, K.B. Miller, insisted I get comfortable with the idea. "Your opinions matter Chuya!" That's what she always said to me. She pushed me into contributing for her blog. Not only to keep her blog active but for myself.

 You see my dear friend was battling MS and I won't get into that part of Kym's life...it never kept her down if she could help it. She wanted to keep planning for the future and always had me in mind to help. I never could say no to her. She was a force to be reckoned with. She loved books. Reading them, writing them, talking about them, blogging and reviewing them. Reviews help authors and she knew it as the #1 rule to writing. So to honor my friend I will continue reading and blogging my reviews. Even if no one ever reads this....my opinion is out there and matters. Kym said so. I'll always love her for that.

I am currently selectively accepting the following genres;
Paranormal
Fantasy
Romance
Historic Romance
Western Romance
Erotica
Anything that doesn't involve hurting children, animals, or incest. Because that's just... wrong.

The formats that I accept are;
Ebooks; mobi or ePub.
Paperbacks are always awesome!

Please email all request to;
Chuyasreviews@gmail.com
I currently have a 2-3 week turn-around time on reviews.

My rating system is as follows;

5 = Family will starve tonight (The book is that damn good!)

4 = Family eats it crispy tonight (I could hardly put it down.)

3 = Family dinner is edible tonight (Was able to walk away.)

2 = Family compliments meal tonight (Eh...)

1 = Family got a homemade dessert tonight (Dinner was way more important!)

Until next time, happy reading!
